An Enduring Guardian is someone you choose to make personal or lifestyle decisions on your behalf when you are no longer capable of making those decisions yourself.
Unfortunately accidents, illness and old age can prevent us from being able to make decisions ourselves. Appointing one or more Enduring Guardians means that people you trust will be able to make decisions for you, if necessary.
For further information on Enduring Guardianship, please see our Fact Sheet on this topic.
